Additionally, Star funded has suspended its services for clients based in the United States, including American citizens and residents, due to regulatory requirements specific to the U.S. market. However, all existing clients will continue to receive services as usual.
The Client is required to adhere to the rules outlined in this section as well as those specified in the FAQ when using Star funded Services. Any transaction that does not comply with these conditions is strictly prohibited.
14.1.1. The Client must not use trading strategies that exploit errors in the Services, such as incorrectly displayed prices or delays in their update, including but not limited to practices known as Latency Trading.
14.1.2. Executing transactions using external or slow data feeds, or engaging in Gap Trading, is strictly prohibited.
14.1.3. Conducting transactions or combinations of transactions on multiple linked accounts or belonging to the platform with the intent to manipulate the market (Group Trading) is prohibited. This includes, for example, opening opposite positions simultaneously.
14.1.4. The use of software, artificial intelligence, high-frequency trading (HFT), bulk data entry, or any other method aimed at manipulating Star funded systems or services, or gaining an unfair advantage, is prohibited.
14.1.5. Any form of arbitrage is prohibited, including but not limited to triangular, statistical, latency, market-making, volatility, dividend, tax, and yield curve arbitrage.
14.1.6. The Client must not use strategies that guarantee the execution of limit orders during periods of low liquidity, as these practices do not reflect actual market conditions.
14.1.7. Engaging in transactions that do not align with standard practices in the foreign exchange market or any other financial market is prohibited. The Client must also avoid any activity that could financially harm Star funded, such as overexposure, excessive leverage, unilateral betting, Grid Trading, Tick Scalping, or Account Rolling.
14.1.8. Copy Trading is prohibited without prior authorization from Star funded.
14.1.9. The Client, or any third party, may not execute transactions on behalf of a third party or allow another person to trade on their Star funded account.
14.1.10. Accessing a third-party account or trading on their behalf, as well as offering account management services for other users, whether professionally or not, is prohibited.
14.1.11. Opening positions with sizes significantly larger than those of other transactions on the Client's account is prohibited.
14.1.12. Opening a number of positions significantly higher or lower than the Client's usual average is prohibited.
14.1.13. The use of excessive leverage or high-risk trading strategies is prohibited.
Star funded reserves the exclusive right to impose trading restrictions, modify account parameters, or suspend an account to ensure the stability and integrity of its trading environment and platform. This right may be exercised in the following cases:
14.2.1. When Star funded believes that a specific trading strategy, behavior, or transaction presents an excessive or unmanageable risk that could harm the platform or its users.
14.2.2. When trading practices do not conform to normal market operations or Star funded risk management policies, particularly due to excessive leverage, overexposure, or abnormally large or small lot sizes.
14.2.3. In the event of inconsistencies in trading behavior, such as significant deviations from the Client's historical habits or standard market practices.
14.2.4. When the Client's trading activities risk causing financial losses or operational disruptions for Star funded or third parties.
14.2.5. To ensure compliance with applicable regulations, operational protocols, and internal policies aimed at maintaining a secure trading environment.
To ensure transparency and effective management of trading practices, Star funded will adopt the following measures in the event of imposing restrictions or modifications to accounts:
14.3.1. Star funded will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client of any restrictions or modifications to their account, explaining the reasons for this decision. However, in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect the integrity of the platform, restrictions may be applied without prior notice.
14.3.2. The Client will have the opportunity to contest a restriction imposed on their account. Star funded will review each request on a case-by-case basis but reserves the right to maintain its decision to preserve the stability of its trading environment.
14.3.3. Star funded cannot be held liable for direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from the imposition of restrictions or account termination. The Client agrees to indemnify Star funded from any liability regarding these actions.
If Star funded detects that one or more prohibited practices have been implemented on one or more Star funded accounts, individually or in association with other accounts, the company reserves the right to:
No refunds will be granted for fees paid by the Client in this case.
If a Client repeatedly violates the rules of Section 14.1, and Star funded has already warned them, the company may:
Star funded disclaims any responsibility for trading or investment activities conducted outside of its platform, even if based on data from the dashboard, trading platform, or any other related service. This also includes any third-party service used by the Client via the platform. Star funded assumes no liability for losses or damages related to the use of external services.
Star funded does not guarantee that the Client's use of the services will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or timely. The Provider does not guarantee that the results obtained from the use of the services will be accurate or reliable.
The Client acknowledges that Star funded reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend a service at any time, with or without notice. By using the services, the Client expressly agrees that their use or inability to use the services is at their own risk.
The services and all products provided by Star funded are made available "as is" and "as available," without any express or implied warranty, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Star funded, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential loss or damage, including, but not limited to:
Whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise. This includes any loss or damage resulting from:
Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for indirect or incidental damages; in such cases, Star funded' liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Star funded, as well as its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, directors, officers, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees, from any claims or demands made by a third party due to:
The indemnification includes, but is not limited to, reasonable attorney's fees and legal costs incurred by Star funded in defending against these claims.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will still be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any unenforceable part of these Terms will be considered severed from the rest of the Terms, without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Obligations and responsibilities incurred prior to the termination date will survive termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service remain in effect until terminated by the Client or Star funded.
The Client may terminate these Terms at any time by notifying Star funded that they no longer wish to use the services or by ceasing to use the platform.
Star funded may terminate this agreement at any time and without notice if, in its sole judgment, the Client fails to comply with any of the terms or provisions of these Terms. Upon termination, the Client remains liable for all amounts due up to and including the termination date, and Star funded may deny them access to the services.
The Client must adhere to the following trading guidelines. Unless a guideline expressly provides otherwise โ in particular the consistency rule in clause 18.1.6, which affects payout eligibility only โ any failure to comply will result in account termination:
18.1.1. Daily Loss Limits
The Client must not exceed the specified daily loss percentage relative to the initial account size, including fees and swaps:
18.1.2. Overall Loss Limits
The account balance must not fall below the specified percentage of the initial cycle size, including all positions and fees:
18.1.3. Minimum Trading Days Requirement
This requirement applies to each phase and to every payout request: at least 5 trading days must have been completed within the payout cycle concerned. A trading day is a day on which at least one position is opened or closed.
18.1.4. Trading Conditions During News Events
2 Step Account: Trading during news events is allowed outside the restricted window, at all stages (evaluation and funded). No position may be opened, modified, or closed within 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after a 3-star high-impact news event; a position opened before that window may be kept open through the announcement. Any violation of this restriction will result in immediate account termination.
1 Step Account: Trading during news events is allowed outside the restricted window, at all stages (evaluation and funded). No position may be opened, modified, or closed within 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after a 3-star high-impact news event; a position opened before that window may be kept open through the announcement. Any violation of this restriction will result in immediate account termination.
This window applies to Challenge accounts (1 Step and 2 Step) only. Instant Funding accounts are subject to the stricter restriction set out in clause 26.1.10.
18.1.5. Holding Positions Over the Weekend
18.1.6. Consistency Rule
All accounts must adhere to a 45% consistency rule: no single trading day may represent more than 45% of the total profit generated over the challenge and the funded period.
The consistency rule does not cause the account to be terminated: an account that does not comply remains active and the Client may continue trading. For as long as the rule is not met, the Client is simply not eligible for a payout; payouts become available again as soon as no single trading day represents more than 45% of the total profit generated.
18.1.7. Exploiting Technical Failures
Any use of system failures to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
18.1.8. Position Hedging
Multiple hedges are only allowed within the same Star funded account. Cross-account hedging or hedging with other companies is not permitted.
18.1.9. Modifications by Add-ons and Special Offers
Selected add-ons and special offers during the challenge may modify the trading rules in this section. These modifications take precedence over standard rules for their duration.
In case of violation of any of these restrictions, Star funded reserves the right to immediately close all open positions, ban the client's account, and terminate this contract without refund.
18.1.10. Risk Control Mechanism
All positions must include a stop loss, set at the moment the position is opened and kept active for as long as the position remains open, so that potential losses are capped. Trades that expose the account to unlimited downside or violate basic risk containment principles may result in disqualification from the evaluation or denial of any profit payout.
18.1.11. Daily Maximum Trading Volume Limit
To preserve the stability of the trading environment and ensure fair use of the Services, a daily trading volume limit applies to all funded accounts, including Instant Funding accounts governed by Article 26. The total volume traded within a calendar day (including all instruments and all positions opened, closed, partially closed, or modified during that day, expressed in lots) must not, under any circumstances, exceed a maximum daily volume of 30 lots, unless otherwise specified on the Client's dashboard or in the account description at the time of purchase.
This volume limit includes, without limitation:
Star Funded reserves the right to adjust the maximum daily trading volume based on account type, account size, or market conditions. Any such modification will take effect once published on the Website or in the Client's dashboard.
Exceeding the daily maximum trading volume constitutes a violation of these trading guidelines and may result, at Star Funded's sole discretion, in:
18.1.12. Profit Targets
The profit target is measured on the initial account size of the phase concerned:
Once the target is reached and every other guideline in this section has been respected, the account moves to the next phase or to the funded stage.
18.1.13. Maximum Risk Per Trade
No single position may risk more than 1% of the initial account size. The risk is measured when the position is opened, from the distance between the entry price and the stop loss required under clause 18.1.10, and this limit applies to every account type and every phase, including the funded stage.
18.1.14. Trading Period and Inactivity
There is no time limit to complete a phase or to trade a funded account: the trading period is unlimited.
The account must nevertheless remain active. If no position is opened for 30 consecutive calendar days, the account is considered inactive: access is suspended and the account may be terminated without refund. Reactivation, where Star funded agrees to it, is governed by clause 19.4.
18.1.15. Profit Split
The standard profit split on a funded account is 70% in favour of the Client. A 90% profit split is available as a paid upgrade at checkout. The split selected at the time of purchase applies for the entire duration of the account.
18.1.16. Payouts
Payouts follow a 30-day cycle: the Client may request a payout every 30 days, provided the minimum trading days requirement in clause 18.1.3 is met and no guideline in this section has been breached. A 14-day payout cycle is available as a paid upgrade at checkout.
Any payout request is subject to the KYC procedures described in Section 11.
18.1.17. Reference Time
All times, deadlines and day boundaries in this section are expressed in the trading server time of the platform. Daily counters — the daily loss limit in clause 18.1.1, the daily volume limit in clause 18.1.11 and the trading days in clause 18.1.3 — reset at 00:00 server time, a trading day being a calendar day on the server. The news window in clause 18.1.4 is measured against the scheduled release time of the announcement, expressed in server time.
A client wishing to terminate their Star funded account must send a request to contact@starfunded.com. This request constitutes a desire to end the contractual relationship, resulting in the loss of access to all services, including the client area and trading platform.
The Provider will confirm receipt of the request via email, officially terminating the contract. In these circumstances, no refund will be granted.
In the event of serious violations of the terms of use, including prohibited trading practices, Star funded reserves the right to immediately restrict access to services and close the client's account without compensation. This suspension may take effect without prior notice, and no refund will be issued for fees paid in these situations.
Once the registration fees for the Star funded Challenge are paid, the client will receive their login credentials. By executing their first transaction, they automatically waive their right of withdrawal and acknowledge that the Provider has begun providing services.
If a client has not opened any position in their Star funded account for 30 consecutive calendar days, the account is considered inactive under clauses 18.1.14 and 26.1.12 and their access will be suspended.
If the client wishes to renew access to their account after this period of inactivity, they will be required to pay 50% of the original account fees. For any renewal requests, the client must contact support via WhatsApp. Renewal will be subject to applicable terms and conditions and approval by Star funded.
In the event of abusive contestation of fees or chargebacks, Star funded reserves the right to terminate the client's services and deny any future access at its discretion.
Once the registration is completed and payment is confirmed, no refunds will be issued, either in full or in part.
Upon confirmation of payment, the client is granted immediate access to confidential account credentials and digital services, which are considered fully delivered at the time of access.
In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws regarding the supply of digital content, the right of withdrawal is waived once the service has begun with the client's express consent.
By registering, the client expressly acknowledges that:
This policy is in place to protect the integrity of the services and prevent misuse of account access provided by Star funded.
In the event of a transaction dispute by the client, the associated trading account will be suspended in accordance with our terms and conditions. Star funded reserves the right to permanently ban any client who raises a false dispute. A false dispute is an abusive contestation of a transaction when services have been properly provided.
To reactivate an account suspended due to a dispute, the client must first cancel their dispute and provide official proof of the dispute withdrawal. The verification and reactivation process may take between 45 and 60 business days.
Clients are encouraged to contact our support before initiating a dispute to find a quicker solution. For any questions or assistance, the client can contact our team via the live chat on the site or by email at contact@starfunded.com.
The failure of Star funded to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms and Conditions, along with all policies and rules published on the site, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between the Client and Star funded. This agreement supersedes any prior communication, proposal, or agreement, whether oral or written.
Any ambiguity in the interpretation of this agreement will be resolved neutrally and will not be automatically interpreted against either party. This provision does not affect the Client's legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
These terms, as well as any additional agreement under which Star funded provides services to the client, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the jurisdiction of the client.
The client agrees to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding their participation in the Star funded Challenge.
The client acknowledges:
Any violation of local laws is solely the responsibility of the client.
Star funded reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. These modifications will take effect immediately for new clients and for new orders placed by existing clients.
Clients are encouraged to regularly review the Terms of Service to stay informed of any updates.

These Star Funded Instant Funding (Private Access) account Terms govern your participation in the Star Funded Instant Funding (Private Access) account program offered by Star Funded, a brand of STAR FINANCE LTD (Company No. 17050924), with its registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Our payment providers process payments.
By entering the program, you (the Client) agree to be bound by these Terms at the moment of purchase. If you do not accept them, you are not eligible.
26.1.1 Program overview: The program provides immediate access to a simulated funded trading account without passing a Challenge or an Evaluation Phase. Details are provided upon registration.
26.1.2 Trading guidelines: The Client must comply with the guidelines below; unless a guideline expressly provides otherwise โ in particular the consistency rule in clause 26.1.7, which affects payout eligibility only โ failure to comply may result in termination of the account.
26.1.3 Profit target: A profit target of 1% of the initial balance applies to the Instant account. The target must be reached before a first payout may be requested; it is not an evaluation phase and no time limit applies to reaching it.
26.1.4 Maximum loss limit (6% trailing drawdown): The account is subject to a 6% Maximum Trailing Drawdown: a fixed safety cushion equal to 6% of the initial balance, which follows the highest level reached on the account. Account equity must not at any time fall below the highest equity level ever reached (high-water mark, measured in real time and including open positions, fees and swaps) minus 6% of the initial balance. The floor starts at 94% of the initial balance, rises dollar for dollar with every new equity high and never moves back down; after a payout, the high-water mark is reset to the account balance recorded immediately after that payout. Example: on a $100,000 account the floor starts at $94,000; when equity reaches $105,000 the floor rises to $99,000, and to $104,000 when equity reaches $110,000 โ the Client can never lose more than $6,000 from the highest point reached. Failure to comply results in immediate termination.
26.1.5 Maximum daily loss: On any given trading day, the Client's losses must not exceed 4% of the initial balance (including fees and swaps). Failure to comply results in immediate termination.
26.1.6 Maximum risk per trade: No single position may risk more than 1% of the initial balance, measured when the position is opened from the distance between the entry price and the stop loss required under clause 26.1.9.
26.1.7 Consistency rule: No single trading day may represent more than 20% of the total profit generated on the account. This rule does not cause the account to be terminated: the account remains active and the Client may continue trading, but no payout may be requested for as long as the rule is not met. Payouts become available again as soon as no single trading day represents more than 20% of the total profit generated.
26.1.8 Minimum trading days: At least 5 trading days must have been completed before each payout request, within the payout cycle concerned. A trading day is a day on which at least one position is opened or closed.
26.1.9 Stop loss: Every position must include a stop loss, set at the moment the position is opened and kept active for as long as the position remains open. Positions left without a stop loss may result in termination of the account.
26.1.10 Trading during news events: Trading during high-impact economic announcements is prohibited on Instant Funding accounts, which are subject to a stricter restriction than the Challenge accounts governed by clause 18.1.4. No position may be open, opened, modified or closed at the time of a 3-star high-impact economic announcement: any position opened beforehand must be closed before the announcement is released, and no new position may be opened until it has been published. Failure to comply may result in the cancellation of the trades concerned, refusal of the payout, or termination of the account.
26.1.11 Weekend positions: Holding positions over the weekend is prohibited. All positions must be closed before the weekly market close.
26.1.12 Trading period and inactivity: The trading period is unlimited. The account must nevertheless remain active: if no position is opened for 30 consecutive calendar days, the account is considered inactive: access is suspended and the account may be terminated without refund, reactivation being governed by clause 19.4. Clause 26.4.4 separately governs accounts that are never activated after purchase.
26.1.13 Profit split: The standard profit split is 70% in favour of the Client. A 90% profit split is available as a paid upgrade at checkout. The split selected at the time of purchase applies for the entire duration of the account.
26.1.14 Payouts: Payouts follow a 30-day cycle: the Client may request a payout every 30 days, provided the profit target in clause 26.1.3, the minimum trading days in clause 26.1.8 and every other guideline in this section are met. A 14-day payout cycle is available as a paid upgrade at checkout. Any payout request is subject to the KYC procedures described in clause 26.3.
26.1.15 Hedging: Hedging within a single Instant account is permitted; hedging across different accounts or with external companies is strictly prohibited.
26.1.16 Exploitation of technical faults: The use of system faults is prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.
26.1.17 Applicable rules: The terms of the FAQ/Rules govern the Instant account.
26.1.18 Modification by add-ons and special offers: Add-ons and special offers may modify the guidelines; such modifications prevail for their duration.
26.1.19 Daily maximum trading volume: The daily volume limit set out in clause 18.1.11 โ a maximum of 30 lots traded per calendar day, unless otherwise specified on the Client's dashboard or in the account description at the time of purchase โ applies to Instant Funding accounts.
26.1.20 Reference time: All times, deadlines and day boundaries in this section are expressed in the trading server time of the platform. Daily counters โ the daily loss limit in clause 26.1.5, the daily volume limit in clause 26.1.19 and the trading days in clause 26.1.8 โ reset at 00:00 server time, a trading day being a calendar day on the server. The news restriction in clause 26.1.10 is measured against the scheduled release time of the announcement, expressed in server time.

26.2.6 Prohibited: arbitrage of any kind (triangular, statistical, latency, market-making, spatial, pairs, risk, convertible, volatility, dividend, tax, yield curve, etc.).
26.2.7 Prohibited: strategies that guarantee the execution of limit orders in low liquidity (which does not reflect the real market).
26.2.8 Prohibited: transactions inconsistent with the forex and financial markets; avoid over-leverage, over-exposure, one-sided bets, grid trading, tick scalping, account rolling.
